Multicultural NSW’s Stronger Together Grants Program now open

Multicultural and multifaith community groups in the Cessnock Electorate are encouraged to apply for a share in $500,000 to deliver grassroots festivals and events that foster community harmony and celebrate cultural diversity in 2024-2025.

Eligible organisations can apply for grants of between $5,000 and $20,000 to help organise festivities that celebrate and embrace our state’s vibrant cultural diversity.

Every year hundreds of grassroots not-for-profit organisations across NSW use the Festival and Event Grants to celebrate their cultural heritage and share food, music and entertainment with everyone in the community.

Multicultural NSW administers the grants on behalf of the NSW Government.

The festivals and events are scheduled to run between 1 March and 31 July 2025.

The grants program has opened and will close at 5pm on Friday 11 October 2024, 5pm with an information session being planned to take place at 11am on Thursday 3 October 2024.

NSW Minister for Multiculturalism, Steve Kamper said:
