You should be able to rely on our local hospital when you need it.
We fought for the $138 million redevelopment of Cessnock Hospital, now the Minns Labor Government is getting it built.
But there’s more to do.
If your child breaks an arm playing footy, has a bad fall at the playground or gets seriously sick in the middle of the night, you should be able to take them to your local hospital and know there’s a doctor there to see them.
You shouldn’t have to drive to Maitland or Newcastle to get the help your family needs.
That’s why I’m fighting for a doctor in Cessnock Hospital’s Emergency Department 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Cessnock is growing. Our hospital needs to keep up.
I’ve fought for better healthcare in the Cessnock electorate for years, and I’m not stopping now.
Sign my petition and join me in the fight for 24/7 doctors in the Cessnock Hospital Emergency Department.
