State Member for the Electorate of Cessnock, Clayton Barr MP is encouraging the community to have their say on the Cessnock Hospital redevelopment with a community information day planned for Wednesday 22 February.
Master plans for the $111.5 million Cessnock Hospital redevelopment have been released and made available for public viewing.
Clayton Barr said “It is incredibly important for community members to have their say and view the recently unveiled master plan and to ask questions.
With the release of the master plan this marks the next step in the planning process to ensure that the best possible hospital and health services are available to support the health of Cessnock communities now and into the future.”
“I encourage everyone to come along and view the plans, ask questions of the project team and provide feedback which will help shape the redevelopment” Mr Barr said.
A community consultation day will be held Wednesday 22 February between 10am to 3pm at Cessnock Hospital (main entrance) 24 View Street, Cessnock.
After consultation on the Master Plan is complete, further detailed planning will be carried out to inform the concept design for the redevelopment. The community will continue to be updated as the project moves forward.
