Better bus stops on the way for Cessnock Electorate

Better public transport infrastructure is on the way in Cessnock Electorate as it is set to receive a share of a $1.6 million which will go towards upgrading bus stops and building new bus shelters in regional NSW.

The funding is being delivered under the latest round of the NSW Labor Government’s Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Scheme will see 149 regional bus stop improvement programs rolled out across the state.

Cessnock City Council will receive $88,000.00 for the upgrade of 11 bus stops, and for 2 new bus stop shelters within the Cessnock Local Government Area.

State Member for the Electorate of Cessnock, Clayton Barr said:
